The 1985 DTM champion was won by the Volvo 240 Turbo driven by Per Stureson. The Volvo 240 Turbo was equipped with a turbocharged inline 4-cylinder OHC2141cc engine that generated 340 horsepower. In combination with a lightweight body of 1035 kg, the Volvo 240 demonstrated a great run that kept rivals at bay. The boxing style had earned it the nickname “Flying Brick” by fans. At the 1985 DTM, Stureson won one victory and five podium finishes and successfully won the drivers' champion.
This is a 1/24 scale plastic model assembly kit that reproduces the Volvo 240 Turbo which was developed by Volvo for Group A touring car racing.
The finished size is 200mm in length and 70mm in width.
The “Flying Brick” boxing style and other details such rear wing are truly reproduced.
The interior such as the roll bar is also modeled in detail.
The underside of the chassis is reproduced realistically.
The markings reproduce the Volvo 240 Turbo driven by Per Stureson, who won the drivers' championship at the 1985 DTM.
